North Stars Rising Toque - Knit Stars Exclusive!

Knit Stars 3.0 is open for enrollment for just a couple more days, so I wanted to show you the exclusive pattern I designed. This is North Stars Rising, a color work toque with a traditional star motif accompanied by a striking crown design. If you join Knit Stars 3.0, you’ll get this pattern along with lots of other goodies, not to mention all the amazing instruction you’ll get from instructors all over the world!

What’s it about?

In my workshops, I’ll be covering lots of color work topics including things like:

  • how to join a new color and get started with stranded color work

  • my favorite tips for better color work

  • advice for choosing yarn and colors

  • simple math to help you swap out motifs or add color to a project that didn’t have it

  • how to design your own hat crown

  • how to shape your knitting in color work

I’ll be using the North Stars Rising toque to give examples and guide you through some of the lessons. You can make your own North Stars Rising following the pattern, or use the pattern in combination with my book AlterKnit Stitch Dictionary to create your own unique hat. Plus, there are eleven other instructors to learn from!

How much is it?

For $199 USD, get instruction from twelve instructors plus amazing bonuses like patterns, live Q&A’s, and a private Facebook discussion group!

Yarn, please!

The yarn in the North Stars Rising toque was custom dyed and will only be available for Knit Stars 3.0 participants to purchase. It’s Magpie Domestic Worsted, a really gorgeous wool yarn. The special colors were inspired by the Knit Stars star and my agave logo. I think the combination is just perfect. You won’t need to buy the yarn for the video lessons, but it sure is fun to have the option!

Sign me up!

You can sign up right now, but enrollment closes November 1 at midnight Pacific time.

What about Knit Stars 1.0 and 2.0?

Previous years’ symposiums are also amazing and you can sign up for 1.0 and 2.0 right now. Learn from folks like Andrea Mowry, Stephen West, and Alexa Ludeman of Tin Can Knits!
