A misty mountain hike

Getting to walk in forested places rejuvenates me and makes me breathe a little deeper. I usually don’t take many photos when I’m on long hikes because I don’t see a lot of wildlife and because I tend to be more focused on just experiencing. But here are a few sights that caught me eye on my last hike. If you can get out today, I hope you enjoy it, but if you can’t, hopefully these shots will remind you to take a breath.

A wide forested landscape with water in between rolling hills.

Bright light is tricky, but I couldn’t pass up with sunshine-y lichen with a tiny spiderweb on the left if you look closely.

Mist rises up from a mossy hill with trees in the background.

The day was brightly sunny and cold with a lot of moisture in the air, so the ground was just covered in mist evaporating from the moss.
