New pattern, coming Thursday!

Snakes in the Stonecrop

My next pattern is a striking transitional project celebrating the small plants and critters that share our favourite hiking trails.

Cowls are just the thing to tuck into your pack for those springtime moments when the sea breeze picks up or the clouds roll in. This one is cozy and bold, with both lace and colourwork, worked with colour-changing yarn — one of those projects that’s so hard to put down because you just need to see what’s going to happen next!

Andrea is in the process of putting on a cowl. It’s in her hands, blurred out, as she looks at it.

Moody but comforting view of a Victoria forest, carpeted with Oregon grape leaves, with tiny golden buds peeking out from the foliage.

Andrea looking at the camera and adjusting her cowl that’s in shades of blue and magenta with a tiny peek of gold.

Andrea’s profile. She’s wearing a cozy cowl in colours that fade from magenta through teal to dark blue. A hint of golden colourwork is visible.

Closeup of a stonecrop plant with rounds, succulent, spindly leaves.

Back view of Andrea’s dark brown braid layered over a soft, cozy cowl.
