Not spring yet, but some sunshine!

I try to pause and appreciate the joys of each season, and right now I’m soaking up those little hints that spring is on its way. I’m basking in the extra few minutes of light in the morning and evening and the warmth of the sunshine when it comes. These are some shots from last weekend’s walk. I especially appreciated the beauty of twigs this time. I find the texture and colour palettes really appeal to my creative self and draw me in every time.

One thing I love about living in Victoria is how there are these lovely marshes right next to the ocean so you can see sea birds out on the waves, but when you look the other direction, there are also crows, sparrows, blackbirds, hummingbirds and all sorts of other delightful beings.
