As the days start to lengthen, green things emerge from winter hibernation. What a delight it is to see brilliant cultivated blooms peek out in weedy gardens! Dahlia Socks take the joy of a messy backyard to the tips of your toes. Enjoy the soothing, engaging colour shifts and the fun of colourwork flowers, along with a secret gusset that’s worked underneath your heel.

Finished Foot Circumference:
6.75(7.5, 8.5) in/17(19, 21.5) cm
Intended to be worn with about 1 in/2.5 cm of negative ease. Choose a size slightly smaller than the desired foot circumference at the ball of the foot.

Blocked Gauge
Gauge measurement should be taken after blocking.
38 sts/48 rounds = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch with smaller needle
38 sts/40 rounds = 4 in/10 cm in colourwork with larger needle
Needles
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. Use set DPNs, long circular needle for magic loop method, or other preferred small- circumference knitting method.
