FAQ

1. What's Knit Stars?

Knit Stars is an online summit happening this winter. The Knit Stars filming team will spend this summer traveling around the world visiting a dozen instructors at home. All of us will teach great workshops and also give you a special window into where we live, work, and create. By signing up you'll get access to in-depth workshops with all twelve teachers, as well as live Q&A sessions, a private Facebook community, exclusive yarns, and free patterns! After the summit is over, you'll have permanent access to every lesson so you can watch them as many times as you like.

2. When will the live summit happen?

Knit Stars 3.0 will happen November 26 - December 14, 2018.

3. What classes will you be offering?

My classes will cover colorwork basics and lots of in-depth stuff too. I'll teach you how to choose colors, how to design with motifs and use color chart repeats, how to add colorwork to projects, my top colorwork tips, and lots more! Plus, I'll share what inspires me and show you my favourite parts of Victoria.

4. Tell me about the earlybird pricing

Earlybird enrollment closes this Friday, April 20, 2018. Save $50 off the regular price by enrolling as an earlybird!

Pacific Arches
CA$14.00

The Pacific Arches Cowl was inspired by the iconic Seattle Center arches & designed especially for Knit Fit 2017. It’s worked in dramatic colorwork as a tube so there is no wrong side. The ends are seamed together to make a cozy loop scarf.

You can read more about Pacific Arches on my blog.

Tolt Hat
CA$12.00

Crisp fall hikes and cool evenings around the campfire call for a cozy set like this. Tolt is an outdoorsy hat that looks great on both men and women. It’s a perfect pattern for those new to color work, too.

The stranded color work pattern takes inspiration from the wending currents of the Tolt River, which was the site of an important salmon run that helped sustain the native Snoqualmie people.

The Tolt Hat and Mitts are now available for individual purchase. You can still get both patterns together if you buy the ebook from Tolt Yarn & Wool. The patterns are also available in print in Tolt's brick-and-mortar shop, in Carnation, Washington, along with the yarn to knit them.
