Herons Only
A great blue heron is landing on a rock in the water. Their wings are stretched out and the tips of their toes are just touching the rock.
I really love watching and photographing great blue herons. They have a place in some special memories of mine and they also just look so much like dinosaurs. And the sounds they make are very surprising!
I recently went down to the beach at low tide where they like to gather and was not disappointed. This post is just great blue heron pictures so we can all admire their magnificent wings and feathers and their ridiculously long legs.
