Spring Blooms!

It’s still too early for most wildflowers, but my garden is already blooming! We have pots with trees and shrubs on our balcony and very special tree that’s just next to our building and so much is either blooming now or just about to start and I really love it. Take a deep breath and enjoy my garden!

We have two cherry trees that I watch constantly when the buds start to emerge and they’re finally just about there!

Three white cherry blossoms are just on the verge of opening. There are sweet little stamens and pistils visible inside the flowers.

Our Japanese maple tree is pretty throughout the year, but it’s always special when the red leaves start to come back. I just adore the saturated colours! They bloom too, but the flowers are very tiny.

And just in case you haven’t seen them before, you have to look at blueberry buds. The flowers are very cute little white bells, but the buds are these wonderful little rocket-shaped things with colours that coordinate perfectly with the Japanese maple tree.

One last show-off is the big leaf maple next to our building. It’s a golden glowing being that I can’t believe I get to see every day.
