My Experience

Where I got it: I bought it in three colours at a Knit Social event on Galiano Island.

Needles I used: Hiya Hiya US 3/.235 mm

Blocked Gauge I got: 26 sts/36 rows = 4"/10 cm

My Thoughts: This feels like a pretty classic MCN (Merino/cashmere/nylon) sock yarn. It’s super soft with lots of drape. The colour is a really nice semisolid red/orange. I love the richness and depth that’s added when a colour has just a bit of light/dark variation within it.

What I might design with it: I want socks in this. I’m a big fan of cashmere socks and I think this would be lovely. Since I’ve got two other colours, I may have to play with some colourwork too.

Where you can get some: Head over to the Sweater Weather Instagram account. You can DM them to get yarn.
